1. i pass
2. contact/places to visit list (and marked on a huge map).
one available wall for sketching large scale ideas (changeable wallpaper?). library corner for inspiration. a “leave your tip for the next guest” box. create-your-own-breakfast-mix game (most important meal of the day).
Thanks Andrea for your thoughts and ideas
1) The main difference between regular and creative guests is the use of time. Creative guests need time for creation: their agenda cannot be packed of visits, meetings and drinks. It’s important to meet people and visit beauties but also some time in silence and/or with music in the background could be helpful.

A small balcony is always welcome: a break in fresh air helps creativity. Put some selected books on the shelves (in some different languages, English and French at least), nice photos on the walls, white papers available and several different kind and color of pens and pencils, a kettle with black tea and coffee.
Hoping to experience one of your rooms.
Ciao
Andrea
Thanks Andrea #2 for your thoughts and ideas :)
rooms should feature a materials library of locally sourced resources / scraps / bits that can be incorporated into artwork.
As a frequent traveler, a vase of fresh flowers in the hotel room definitely makes me feel at home. I long for peonies in Chinese hotels ,gardenias in Thai hotels, lilacs in Swiss hotels, and camellias in Japanese hotels. I enjoy the scented room.
Hi!
1. I think a creator needs staff who understands that creators need inspiration and unique places. Maybye a kind of system with “local creative buddies/bigsisters and brothers” who can show these creators around, or maybye just email some interesting things happening right at the moment? Brian Eno´s inspirationcards are interesting too.
2 A big clean wall where you can pin papers, pictures and stuff. A view. Telephonenumbers to different locals who want to speak to a creative foreigner…
All I would want is good lighting. Bad lighting = bad art.
I agree, a view is essential, as well as art books and perhaps some literature on town’s history.
I love having a big cork to pin pictures, post cards and notes. It is also important to have a nice big table to work and good lighting.
Hot water for tea, mate or coffee is important also.
