KLARA (SE)

KLARA is a Swedish dance group who stayed at Creators Inn by Elvine at LAT in Gothenburg while rehearsing a dance piece. We spoke to Lena Kimming, one of the dancers.

Describe yourselves and what you do?
We are working with improvisation in dance and as a group we call ourselves KLARA. Individually we go by the names Ina, Rebecka, Alexandra and Lena.

What is creativity according to you?
It’s something that exists in everyone, and we would like to refer to our pieces

What was your reason for visiting Gothenburg?
Rehearsing, revising and sharing a dance piece that we created in 2007, and that we are now remounting for a tour next year

Tell us about your experience staying at Creators Inn / LAT?
It feels and smells like home and one of us thinks it smells like Christmas. Nice energy and people, always someone to dicuss ideas with. Very open environment.

Any future plans or closing thoughts you would like to share?
We will most definitely come back
