Yvan Rodic aka Facehunter was our first guest at the hotel-in-hotel version of Creators Inn by Elvine located at Hotel Scandic Malmen in Stockholm.
Who are you and what do you do?
I’m a 32 year old guy. I’m half Swiss Half Serbian and I’m travelling the world. I’m running two blogs, one streetstyle: facehunter.org and a visual diary: yvanrodic.blogspot.com. I’m also producing a web TV show that features emerging talents in different cities, it’s called The Facehunter Show.
Do you consider yourself creative and if so, in what way?
I guess I can answer yes, because I choose to live the life I want by inventing a new profession.
What was your reason for visiting Stockholm, and what happened while you were here?
I wanted to be in town during the Summer, because it’s the best time to photograph Stockholmers looking gorgeous and sharp. I just started my new visual diary and it was perfect because the week-end was quite happening and the light beautiful.
How did you like the room, and what do you think about the Creators Inn by Elvine concept?
I liked it a lot. It was cosy, almost like a home. I find the idea brillant. It’s a smart way to promote a brand.
Any tips and recommendations for future guests? Did you include anything on the map?
They should definitely try the ice-creams at Nytorget. I unfortunately forgot to include it on the map.
What’s creativity to you?
Freedom, madness & self-confidence.
What’s next? / Anything else you want to add?
I’m publishing the Facehunter book in February 2010 at Thames & Hudson. Check it out!
Thank you!
