Elvine and Scandic Malmen extend successful collaboration – Creators Inn by Elvine

Clothing brand Elvine and Scandic Malmen extend the collaboration that began in August when the hotel concept Creators Inn by Elvine launched in Stockholm. One of the rooms at Scandic Malmen was re-designed and opened up as the first “hotel-in-hotel” concept in the world.

“The response has been fantastic, both from local events organisers in need of accommodation for their guests and the general public”, says Anna Spjuth, Hotel Manager at Scandic Malmen.

During the six weeks the room offered accomodation to some 30 guests from all over the world. Fashion duo Jojo & Malou, Japanese artist Shin Tanaka and Italian musician and DJ Alexander Robotnick were among some of the creative people who stayed for free in the room.

As of Wednesday, November 18th and until the end of 2009 visiting creators are once again offered to apply for free accommodation at Creators Inn by Elvine.

“We’ve really been able to offer something that creative people really need, and we’re of course very pleased that it will now continue up until the new year. A little kindness will get you far”, says Johan Johnsén, marketing manager at Elvine.

Potential guests from Sweden or the world are able to apply for short-term accommodation at www.creatorsinn.com. A selection of room guests throughout the project will be documented and presented on the website.
